How we fit your project

From supplier selection to site acceptance

Most quality and delivery failures are visible early to someone standing in the supplier's workshop. Our services are organised along the procurement lifecycle, so each phase has the right control.

PHASE 01

Supplier selection

Capability and process audits before award, so the sourcing decision rests on what the supplier can actually do.

Positioning

Your technical presence inside the Turkish supply chain

Buyers in Europe, North America and the Middle East source castings, forgings, machined parts, fabrications, machinery and engineered equipment from Turkey. The opportunity is real: capable suppliers, short lead times and proximity. The risk is distance. Problems that are obvious on the shop floor are invisible from an office abroad until the shipment arrives.

QUALITAS TR closes that distance. We are engineers based in Ankara who inspect, audit, expedite and manage projects on behalf of buyers, with reports written for decision makers. We are not the supplier's consultant and we do not sell certificates: our only client on a job is the party that appoints us.

Inspection

Is it right?
  • Verifies conformity to drawings, specifications and codes
  • Works to the ITP and acceptance criteria
  • Output: inspection report and release note
  • Authority: accept or reject against criteria

Third-Party Inspection

Expediting

Will it be on time?
  • Verifies physical progress against the schedule
  • Follows materials, sub-suppliers and documents
  • Output: progress report with forecast dates
  • Authority: escalate and follow recovery

Expediting

Project management

Is the whole project under control?
  • Plans and coordinates scope, interfaces and risks
  • Integrates engineering, quality and schedule
  • Output: status reports and decisions needed
  • Authority: coordinate within the agreed mandate

Project Management

Engineering management · Project management · Expediting

Engineering, project and schedule control, not only inspection

Many inspection agencies stop at accept or reject. Our scope continues into the technical and project questions behind the result: is the drawing clear, is the tolerance feasible, is the change controlled, is the material on order, will the FAT happen on the planned date?

Engineering management, project management and expediting are offered as distinct services with their own deliverables, and combined with inspection when that gives you the best view of an order.

Expediting dashboard: planned versus actual progress

Weighted manufacturing progress of a fabricated equipment order with milestone markers. Select a scenario or a milestone.

Illustrative data

Expediting compares verified physical progress with the agreed schedule and flags delivery risk early.

Inspection and quality assurance capability

Evidence, not opinions

Measured values, photographs, statistical evidence where volumes justify it, and clear classification of findings. The examples below are interactive.

SPC individuals chart: bore diameter Ø25.000 mm

Control limits calculated from the first 15 samples. Select a scenario, then a point.

Illustrative data

An individuals chart plots each measurement against limits at three standard deviations from the centre line.

Risk matrix: severity versus occurrence

A simplified 5 x 5 matrix used to rank supplier and process risks before an inspection plan is set. Select a cell.

Educational model

Rows: occurrence. Columns: severity.

Higher scores call for stronger controls: hold points, 100% checks or process changes.

Inspection methodologies

The right method for each characteristic

Visual testing and routine measurements are performed by our engineers; certified NDT and laboratory tests are witnessed, reviewed or coordinated. Every proposal states which is which.

VT

Visual Testing

The first and most important inspection method: surface condition, workmanship and weld profile, direct or remote.

UT

Ultrasonic Testing

Volumetric NDT with high frequency sound: weld flaws, laminations, internal forging defects, thickness.

RT

Radiographic Testing

X-ray and gamma ray imaging of internal flaws in welds and castings, with a permanent record.

MT

Magnetic Particle Testing

Surface and near surface crack detection in ferromagnetic materials using magnetic fields and particles.

DIM

Dimensional Measurement

Hand instruments, gauges and fixtures for size, form and position, chosen for the tolerance.

CMM

CMM and 3D Measurement

Coordinate measuring machines, laser trackers and scanning for complex geometry and GD&T.

Why QUALITAS TR

Principles you can hold us to

We prefer commitments we can be measured against to adjectives. These are the principles behind every QUALITAS TR job.

Independence

We work for the party that appoints us. We do not accept fees from the supplier being inspected, sell consultancy to it on the same job, or approve our own work. See our independence policy.

Engineering judgement

Inspections are led by engineers who understand how the product is made: metallurgy, welding, machining and quality engineering, not checklists alone.

Facts in every report

Measured values, photographs, references to the document revision used and a clear verdict. Findings are classified and traceable.

Defined scope, honest limits

Every proposal states what we perform, what we witness and what we coordinate through qualified third parties. We never present partner capabilities as our own.

One accountable contact

One engineer or coordinator for your order, who knows the product, the supplier and the history, and answers in English.

Direct communication

No forms and no call centres. Email or call us and an engineer answers.

Direct contact. No forms.

Discuss your inspection, audit or project requirements
