Witnessed proof that equipment performs before it leaves the factory, and verified installation and handover at site.
Overview
A defect found at the factory acceptance test costs hours to fix. The same defect found after installation costs weeks, and sometimes a production shutdown. FAT is the moment when the buyer confirms, with the supplier's equipment and engineers still available, that the product performs as specified.
QUALITAS TR witnesses FAT on behalf of buyers: reviewing the test procedure in advance, confirming instrument calibration, witnessing each test step, recording results, managing the punch list and issuing a clear acceptance recommendation.
At site we support installation inspection, site acceptance tests, commissioning support and the review of final handover documentation, providing continuity between what was tested at the factory and what is accepted in the field.
Each service page explains scope, methodology, standards and deliverables.

How we work
Preparation determines whether a FAT is a formality or a real acceptance test.
Test procedure checked against the specification: test steps, acceptance criteria, instruments, duration and records.
Pre-FAT confirmation that the equipment is complete, internally tested and documents are available. Avoids wasted trips.
Each step witnessed, values recorded, deviations noted. Calibration certificates of test instruments verified.
Open items categorised by whether they prevent shipment, with owners and dates.
FAT report with acceptance recommendation, conditions and the punch list for close-out.

Normally the supplier, approved by the buyer. We review it before the test and propose additions where specification requirements are not covered.
Partially. Remote video witnessing can support simple tests, but measurement verification, instrument checks and close examination need a person on site. We advise which parts can be remote.
Direct contact. No forms.
Send us the purchase order scope, drawings, specifications or ITP and the supplier location. You will receive a written proposal with scope, inspector profile, schedule and reporting format.
