01What the service involves
Production expediting tracks an order from purchase order acknowledgement to shipment readiness. QUALITAS TR verifies that the supplier has placed orders for raw materials and bought-out items, follows their delivery, confirms material receipt and inspection, and tracks manufacturing progress operation by operation against the schedule.
Procurement expediting extends to the supplier's sub-suppliers: castings, forgings, motors, instruments, valves and other long lead items are followed directly where they determine the critical path.
